Happy 2018 friends! I know I’m about 4 days late, but if you’re reading this, you noticed that RGPT got a little upgrade, so that’s what I’ve been working on so far this year! I was so excited for this and am still not quite finished (working on a logo) but it’s so much better! My hope is that it will load faster and be a bit easier to navigate than before.
So, how many of you made resolutions? I am definitely not a huge fan of them. I’m not all about the #newyearnewme thing. I tend to make changes when I need to rather than try to do something for an entire year. However, there are a few “mental health” changes which I definitely needed to work on and the new year was just a great gateway to start those. (Hence the new year, better me). I have already implemented one, and am working on several others. These are changes that might just take me all year to accomplish, but I WILL because I need to. Positivity is the only thing that will be emanating from me this year, and I still hope to inspire you to do great things, which is the point of my blog. (And a creative outlet to share my attainable fashion finds)!
It’s proving to be V hard to get outside and get any sort of photo taken in this weather, so today I’m just excited to share a little tidbit of something I’ll be starting Monday! B and I are going to be taking on the Arbonne 30 Days to Healthy Living challenge. Now, if you know us or follow me at all, you know I already work-out pretty regularly and eat generally healthy. (I love me some dessert though). So, I am excited to finally share recipes and work-outs with you all on here! I have been wanting to share for a while and just didn’t get around to it, but I’m prepared now!
As a starting point, last summer/fall B and I completed the P90X3 program. It was a great new program after we had finished and then just been intermittently doing Insanity Max 30 mixed with running (bad bad for me). We are now looking ahead to starting 80 Day Obsession. It gets released on the 15th of this month. I have to admit having a work-out partner helps tremendously! A partner also helps with the whole healthy eating thing too. Since I would definitely fall off the wagon if B was just over there eating pizza and drinking beer while I’m trying to do a cleanse. So, if you live with someone, I highly suggest to either have some ground rules about certain things or convince them to join you in your journey!
I plan to do (now, by all means hold me accountable) 3 posts a week sharing our daily work-outs and meals. This will all be mixed in with Arbonne materials for the 30 days starting on Monday. After we complete the Arbonne program, I will still be here sharing recipes and work-outs since I will be doing an 80-day work-out program! It’s a brand new program, so I’m excited to share my thoughts on it. I have done several work out programs on Beachbody as I am not a gym girl. I had a gym membership for 1 year and absolutely despised it. It was way more time consuming and hard to do than an at-home type program, in my opinion. I know some people don’t have the space at home and do just like the gym, and I’m all for that! Whatever you like, do it! I am a proponent of getting out there and doing the work to keep your body healthy, in whatever form you enjoy most.
Alright, I have rambled on enough today. I am certainly excited about this new endeavor and you will be able to find all of the posts relating to the Arbonne program in a new tab up top “2018 Arbonne 30-days Program”. I hope you all follow along and get inspired to start your own health and fitness journey. We can all use a little encouragement and I’m definitely here for that! Happy Friday eve!
(p.s. – I plan to leave you with this for the next couple months, to both help myself and you all!) We CAN DO THIS!
